I am very new to classic bicycles so I am on a steap learning curve here so please excuse me if I ask some very basic questions!

What's an approximate value for a restorerd to original, 1937 Flyte? Not that's it's ever going to be for sale while I am alive but I am interested anyway.

Also from the VERY limited research I have done over the past weeks I am getting some early indications of the valves of Pierce chainless bikes with suspension both ends.

Seems they can go as low as a few hundered if rough and not complete (but not missing drive bits) up to one nice one that I spoted went at auction for 2600US.
Can anyone fill me in some more detail?

What about the valves of other chainless bikes?
What was considered to be the top of the line in their day?

Pope/Columbia
Cleveland
Pierce
Clipper
Monarch
and no doubt many others!
