Phillips ten speed value ?
hello
Iam looking for a value on this bike . its a 23 inch frame with Huret components it has 700C tires and Raliegh BB and handles bars . it has been repainted and there is no rust . frame is solid . and info would be great !

I'm not real familiar with Phillips. If it's the same Phillips I've had contact with, they were good bikes, but not glamourous. Huret made the full range of components. Some of their high end derailers are highly sought after. At the other end of the spectrum, their low end Alvit derailers are among of the worst POS. So it depends on what level of Huret is on the bike. The crank looks like a lower end, chromed steel cottered crank and the bars look like chrome but the wheels look like they are alloy. I'm guessing that the Huret derailers are low end, if that is correct, the bike is worth around $25-$50 taking into account that you are going to have to install a full set of cables with housing.

I agree, the only Phillips that I am familiar with is the British manufacturer. I remember them making a low end all steel road bike, which I believe is what we are looking at. Very basic stuff and now worth much more than above quote.
