Fastab anyone?
 

I have a Fastab frameset with wheels that could be made into a pretty nice bike but it is WAY too small for me and my wife just isn't into riding. I posted it on Craigslist but I suspect I have it way under priced... Can anyone with a better idea of it's value please clue me in??? Thanks for the help!

Way underpriced bikes on Craigs List last an hour or less. There are scoopers in just about every market watching C/L to pick up deals.

Without pictures and more information, no idea on value. But if someone has not raced to your house to buy it, price is probably fine, FOR CRAIGS LIST.

If you want to get anywhere near full market value for a frameset, C/L is not the place (at least in my experience). Incomplete, niche framesets tend to get minimal response around here on C/L. If you want full market value, ebay is the way to go, but has all the hassles of ebay (must ship it, bidding is unpredictable, etc).

I have sold several framesets on C/L for convenience only, realizing that I would only get a small % of full market value. The choice is yours.

Fastab? I am not familar with it. any pics? is it a old or newer bike?

I couldn't find anyifo on the net about Fastab, are they from Texas? is this your bike? I think the reasons it is not selling is, it looks odd with the TT meeting the ST so low. the position of the bottle cage makes it look odder. it is not a complete bike. if I knew more about the hubs and did not have to pay to pack and ship it I might buy it for the parts.

Fastab was a custom frame and bicycle company located in Garland Texas. It was started in 1972 by Tom Boyden, a veteran racer, coach, team manager and commisaire. The goal was to provide affordable custom frames. Tom apparently had some "different" ideas about components and marketing product. I remember reading a Bicycling road test on his Fastab Tomaso and was surprised to see that it came without decals. I was even most astonished to find that you could order a brazed but unfiled and unpainted version of the frame.

Have actually seen/ridden a Fastab tandem.
