1984 Centurion DLX Sport

I have been looking around for a cheap road bike and I found this Centurion for $300. I think it may be a little bit expensive but I want someone else's opinion.

700 x 23c tires. 53cm size frame (5'5 to 5'9). 31 inch standover height. Tange infinity cr-mo frame material Shimano SIS

You will probably get more responses for this type of question of the C&V Appraisal Forum. IMO, 300 is a high price.

I picked this one up last summer for less than $100. All it needed was some cleaning.

Nice bikes. The Sport DLX was a lower end Centurion built in Taiwan, but still had a fairly good Tange Infinity tube set. That looks like a 54 or 56cm to me. There was a similar one posted locally in 58cm for $150 a couple weeks ago. That bike would be a good buy at $150-$175 ready to ride. And that is not an '84. More like an '88 or '89.

$300 is way high. My 86 Accordo was only $50 The RSX group was harvested from another bike. It was originaly set up similar to that one though.
