what do i have here 10 speed huret, allvit ,gb brakes, cool plastic fenders with raleigh sticker. i dont see a serial number anywhere. im not much into tourist type bikes but this one had some pesonality. i was going to put some drop bars on it and a narrow seat but having second thoughts. its kinda growing on me idea on year value

Nice bike! Cottered crank-I would think 60's to early 70's. Love those calipers-and the wrap around seat stays. Flip the bars. It indeed has characture. Maybe look up the derailleur model for date. Also 'retro raleigh site'.

Some close ups of decals-derailleurs-fork/ would be great. I was going to say lenton/but the fork is the wrong kind. I'd love to have something like that! Check the seat tube for serial #

I think the bike looked better in the before pics. great city bike. the 'racy' style not so much, you need real dropbar levers.
if you want better info on the date post some good pics like Juls is asking for. I am not a Raleigh expert but would't a '60s 5spd have a spindle style fork?

I have a 1985 Raleigh Olympian. The owners manual shows the serial number can be on the bottom of the bottom bracket (mine is) or along the bottom edge of the head tube. Your bike might be the same.
I'll be buying a new Trek next week, but my Raleigh is a good old bike that I'll probably keep forever.
