How much is this Colnago worth?
Hi,
I came across this Colnago today. However, since it is obviously too small for me I am considering to sell it.
The parts are in very good condition. The frame has no damage but the the paint goes of on some spots. Chrome is in very good condition.
Size is 50,5cm c-t-c.
What is a Colnago like that worth? Should I part it out?
Thankx in advanced.

In my opinion it would be criminal to part it out. If you are curious about the year of manufacture look at the top of the rear derailleur in front of where the cable enters. It should have the last two digits of the year the RD was made.

It's an early 80's frame - '81-82 would be my best guess based on the frame details.
It's a bit rough, but on the other hand has some desirable parts. I would put the value in the 700-900 USD range - you'll have to figure out what that means for you depending on where you're selling it.

We sold two of these this winter.
One was in a little nicer condition. Sold locally for the middle of the above value range.
The second was not nearly as clean. Sold quickly to a friend for a rain/spring bike.
Again, the range listed above was close.

The price range mentioned above would be ok for me.
I will probably sell it on ebay like I did with other bikes.
The size is probably most interesting for the asian market.
