Simplex JUY 51 Rear Derailleur

I happened upon an old, I believe is a NOS Simplex JUY 51 rear derailleur that a bike shop had in one of their cabinets. I don't much about it so I thought I'd start here. The reason I believe it might be new, old stock is that there is no wear on the pulley wheels and the mount where it fits to the dropout and wheel axle has no marks on it either.

I did some Googling and thought it appeared to be a Simplex JUY 51 but others out there are much more knowledgable than I and am hoping could help me with this. Lastly, while on Google I read about (wishful) thoughts that this could be very collectable. Again, any ideas?
Thanks to all who provide input.
