Tommaso w/ dura ace

Howdy All,

A friend of mine is looking to sell a very nice... in excellent condition

Tommaso with dura ace component... it was bought around 1992.

He asked me for a value estimate before he sell it... but I wanted to get some other opinions before I gave him a number.

I have not seen the bike in person just from the photos he sent... take a look and let me know what you think.

ok! nice bike. thats one of those 80s ten speed import paint jobs. im thinking 5-600.00 maybe? i heard tommaso was made by bilato in italy. one of our bf members has a very nice one with all super record which he trying to sell for 800.00 but has been trying to get that much for quite a while. these are not very high demand bikes but still nice bikes. good luck

I figure it would be worth about 400 to 500... I think he will have to sell it on ebay or on BF... not sure many locals besides my self would pay that much for a c & v bike.

Thanks for the info

The bike in the pictures seems to have 9-speed Ultegra components, not Dura-Ace. As Joe said, it took me a while to sell an earlier Super Record bike for $800, and mine was a chromed SLX frame. 600 looks reasonable.

Great... I think my friend will be happy to get $500 to $600...

any recommendation for either selling complete or parting out? Sorry I don't have more info on the components but may take a look at it in person this weekend.

i would sell it as complete bike. dont think you could get too much for the parts. i know with metins' bike, the parts alone were worth at least 500.00...but that is campy super record. now...if that is ultegra like metin says it is, the parts just arent worth very much. there isnt much demand for those even though they are great parts and work excellent. as is said before...i think 5-6 for the complete bike is a good deal. best of luck selling it. looks very very nice. oh. by the way....do you know what tubing? sl, slx? or ?? that would also make a big difference as well.
