91 trek 520
I'm looking at a Trek 520 in pristine condition, with Deore Dx components, and I'm curious what the value would be? The bike is 100% original with about 10 miles on it.

My guess is the floor is about $400, and the roof is around what a forum member recently sold a Miyata 1000 complete with racks for, about $650 IIRC.

$450 market value in ready to ride condition. Although the bike sounds great, I would expect to need to do the basics: bearings, grease and cables. Although it may have zero miles on it, the consumables are 20 years old. Time takes it toll.
FWIW: Here in Hooterville, I picked up a nice 2000 Trek 520, nine speed, as a keeper, in excellent condition, last year for $340. And it sat on C/L for several days (eventually I gave in to the temptation....) I've also sold several mid 1980s Trek 520s, all in ready to ride condition. None of them crossed the $400 mark.
