Another Bianchi

User is selling local to me, and looking to trade for my daily/commuter/hybrid
i believe he is asking $280 Canadian.
He doesn't know to much about it, as he bought it about 4 years ago from a used bike shop that is known for selling the older road bikes. He has used it only a handful of times.

Basically from the picture, i was wondering if anyone would be able to identify the model, and period its from? i was thinking early 90's, but then again, i know squat about older bikes.

Thanks !!!

in the states judging by the style of Bianchi decal and the green Bianchi Special tubing decal I would say '88 but your bikes are bit different than ours.

wether the price is goods depends on the kit and the condition. can you get better pics?

Sorry, I forgot to thank you for the quick reply Bianchi Girl

So after a long wait, This bike is finally in my posession, and I couldn't be happier

After a quick clean, Celeste bar tape, and the carbon Bontrager seat post and Bontrager saddle off my Trek, I have a good base to deal with.
On with the pics (sorry, they're blackberry)

I've had it out for the last two days, and came to the conclusion that this bike is amazing for what I think is its age. Very smooth and agile, you hardly feel any bumps in the road. The downtube shifting is new to me, and so far I'm still getting used to it, but the Campy deraillers are super crisp and tight.
The Shimano 600 brakes (not original equipment) fell terrific, even though I need new rear pads.
The Nitto handlebar and stem (which I believe are also not original equipment) are excellent and give a really great riding position.

I took some quick and crappy pics of the original stickers and also the components of the bike in hope someone can help pinpoint the year this bike was built and also the model of it. As well as tell me what might be original and what was replaced.

great looking Bianchi. as I mentioned before your bikes are a bit different from ours until I believe T-Mar told me '90. but again based on the sstyle of the decals, the mint Celeste color, and the Campinoe del Mondo sticker I still think it is a '88 or '89. assuming the drivetrain, and HS are OEM this looks like an Alloro or Nuovo Alloro level bike. it is possible that decal style came in '87 on other markets but not here.

I believe the HS is Ofmega and the RD looks like maybe a Victory or a later '980 gear.
