I have a stem that I dont know much about. It has a Made in Italy decal. I purchased this with a Cinelli Milano stem. The pictured stem has some of the same features as the Cinelli Milano stem. Is this Cinelli? Was this made by someone else? http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=198820http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=198821http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=198822

No. It is the basic style of one though, one from the 50's would have a Cinelli stem badge. Yours appears from the early 60's due to the made in Italy transfer. It is a Pista stem, #2 drop I am pretty sure and about 8 cm, #1 drop was basically the same as a road stem, #2 the medium drop and the #3 the most severe, seen on sprinters iron of the day.

A stem badge is not necessary for a Cinelli stem but a Cinelli Milano stamp is. My guess is Ambrosio.

I recently identified this as an early Cinelli. These were made 1946-1960s.
