Is this crazy or what? Raleigh Gran Sport for $600.

I haven't seen many Gran Sports on auction sites, but I was kind of thinking $300 for one in good shape with all its parts. But this fellow has a reserve on this one of over $300 (I offered $300 but it doesn't meet the reserve) and a 'Buy it now' price of $600. Also, he has no definite idea what year it is (it originally was being sold as a 1975, which it can't be - judging by the paintwork it's probably a '73 or '74). Now it seems to be in great condition, and it's Reynolds 531 tubing, but even so, $600?
And shipping seems kinda high to me, but I don't know.
Am I crazy for thinking this is a $300 bike, or is he crazy for thinking it's worth nearly $600.

But the current bid is pretty reasonable. If you're interested in the bike, toss in a bid and see if it meets the reserve.
Maybe he's marketing to wealthy Raleigh completists in Japan.

I'd love the bike, but with the extra $100 for shipping I just can't afford to bid any higher than $300. And even if I could afford it, I think after $300 it becomes not worth the price.
