What is this Peugeot Mixte, and is it worth getting?

https://www.footeco.com/ellen/bike/Mixte02.jpg

I've been offered a mixte which is apparently like this one (not the actual one though). I'm asking for more deets, but I presume it is very similar. Can anyone ID it and is it a goodie?

I'd be trading for it, but what would it be worth (or rather, what should i pay for it)?

thanks!

Need pictures of the actual bike, and the link does not work regardless.

Working on getting pics of the bike, but it's apparently in good cond (owned by a former bike mechanic). You (annoyingly) have to cut and paste the pink into your browser for some reason or hit reload.

I was thinking that the chomed forks indicate that it's a higher end model but I am surprised by it not having drop handlebars.

it looks nice one of the those OU8 things I believe. it could likely use new tires. I think I would give 100 to 200 for it

Lots of chromed forks on bottom end bikes. Few high end mixtes, and Peugeot did not make a high end one. All the Peugeot mixtes were versions of lower end models.

UO18 had chromed forks, and it was the mixte version of the UO8 (essentially entry level bike from the bike boom).

I have had several Peugeot mixtes, all were nice bikes, but lower end. Google Peugeot catalogs, they are all out there on line.

Maybe there is a high end Peugeot mixte out there, but I have never seen one.

Thank you, thank you for your help! Obviously, this isn't the bike for me as it would have been a partial trade and have to be shipped from CA to Canada! LOL

Since you are in Canada, you need to contact Randy Jawa. Randy is pretty active on this forum, and has A LOT of bikes.
