Mavic Wheel Set

I've got a pair of 36H Mavic G 40 Module E's laced to Maillard 700 hubs, the rear is adorned with a Suntour New Winner 13t-28t freewheel. The brake surfaces on the rims show some wear, but otherwise in nice shape. Any idea what the value range is for these?

I know this is the appropriate place to post a value question, but maybe you can cloak the question in some way and post to the C&V Forum. IMO, you won't get much input here. 27" wheels are a real niche market. The audience may be very small but may very prize that nice wheelset. (Good grammer huh)

I think people are sometimes in need of replacement or upgrade wheelsets for their vintage bikes that are outfitted in 27" wheels. The majority of my bikes used to have 27" wheels and now I really only have one that has 27" wheels and a bunch that take 700c. Back when I had a bunch of bikes that did take 27", I would have considered buying some like you have to upgrade from the "plain Jane" Araya's that are so common.

I probably would have been willing to spend $50.00 or so for a wheelset such as you describe. If they were mint, maybe more.

The Mavic Mod E's and hubs you mentioned are really sweet. I don't think you would have a hard time getting at least $100 for the set.
(And if they were 700c they would literally fly out the door.)
