Is This A 1993 Bianchi EL C-Record Team Bike? Or...

Bought this the other week. Haven't seen this bike in red before. Can't seem to find it on the internet anywhere.

I think it might be one of these two models:

https://bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeS...cord&Type=bike

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

nice Bianchi, but I am not sure about the team name. the frame looks just like a '93 Ferrari Red EL Reparto Corse frame. the kit on it looks like early Chorus Ergo. it was not offered a complete bike but as a fframe and kit.

there was a '93 MG/Bianchi Team bike with EL but they were Celeste with Record and Delta brakes.

how does it ride?

help with Bianchi EL OS paint

I have a chance to pick up a rare paint scheme on a Bianchi EL OS frame that the owner is claiming is NOS. I do not have any other info other than it was purchased from a collector in Italy about 15 years ago. It has a unique head tube badge and a small R marking under the badge. Any help if this frame is original or a repaint. Made in Italy stickers are missing, possibly cause it was never built. there are no signs of any markings on the metal.

I cant post pics because i am a new member here.

The frame features are certainly consistent with a Bianchi EL of the mid-1990s. However, it's also consistent with other high end Bianchi and you'd be hard pressed to confirm EL without a weight for comparison. I have not seen one with the white banding, chromed head lugs, metal head badge and painted rear doputs. Of, course that does not mean that they did not exist. It looks like it could be a special edition but the lack of Made In Italy, Campione del Mondo and Reparto Corse decals is suspicious. Unless somebody can confirm its authenticity, I'd make an offer based on what you'd be comfortable paying fora repainted high end Bianchi of unverified tubing. Pic assist...
