Not looking to sell, but want to know if it's worth keeping as is
Hey there. I've mentioned this mixte before, but I'm hoping to figure out if this bike is worthy of keeping in its current like-new state, or if it's run-of-the-mill enough (either here or in its native Germany) to strip the decals and otherwise make it more to my taste. Thanks! https://www.flickr.com/photos/6133923...7626768578657/

I think the bike *defines* run of the mill. Plus it's a girl's bike, which for a variety of reasons drives the price much, much lower. I would customize it to your heart's content.

I disagree. Mixtes are hot in most urban markets. I am not sure about the decals, can you post some better side views?

+1 Mixtes are hot, and this one is an extra nice build, nice lugs, interesting head badge, chain guard, fenders, etc. Nothing average about this bike at all.
This bike would be very attractive in its current form in my area and bring pretty decent money. I would not touch a thing.
I pick up any mixte I see (if the price is right). Buyers love them. Most mixtes do not have as nice of detail work as this one.
Personally, if I was looking for something to modify, I would find one in much worse shape (like the mixte I picked up last week for $10, with mediocre paint, rust, etc.). Then have at it! This one you have is way too nice.
I guess you can tell I think you have a really nice bike there..........

Thank you all for your input. I really do enjoy the bike an awful lot. : ) I don't know why it's so hard to find information on German bikes. Thanks for your help!
