Faggin Campione Del Monde
I've got a prospect for a new project and wanted to see if anyone could help me out with some information on it.
The bike according to the owner:
Faggin Campione del Monde from ~1980 (although this could be completely off)
Campy hubs, seat post, and crank, Mavic rims, Dura ace brakes.
Silver/gray with original decals in pretty good shape.
Reynolds tubeset.
I can't get any photos at this point as the owner is on vacation until next week. When he gets back I'm going to go and take a look.
Does anyone have any familiarity with the Faggin line during this time? I've tried to get some information on this model and have only come up with a few photos.
The asking price is $200. Worth the investment?
Thanks in advance!

Yup, sounds like a good deal. It is a bit odd that an Italian bike would be made from Reynolds tubing, you might want to confirm that with the seller. If it is Reynolds, find out which tube set it is as well.

The bike in question is my size, so baring any major problems/flaws I'd be happy to have it. Not really trying to flip it, but it's nice to know putting money into its restoration wouldn't hurt.
