Bianchi 1980s?

I'm looking for used bikes and came across this Bianchi. I'm pretty much new to the biking scene so I'm still a little clueless. The fella who's trying to sell me the bike is asking $500.

The specs:
Takagi Tourney xtt cranks
Suntour Superbe Derailers
Suzue Tech Rims
New Front Rim, japan champion bars
Bianchi Headset.
48cm.

What do you guys think?

Thanks. AshtonK

Nice looking Bianchi Randonneur. i am not certain of the exact year but a few things do not match any bikes int he catalog. is this in the US or Canada?

the Superbe is a nice upgrade but I am not sure how functional it would be with the wide range freewheel and the halfstep plus granny chain rings.

it looks nice but personally I think $500 is a bit much for a Mangalloy frame.

Its in the US. It is a sweet looking ride and hard to find (at least where I live at) small Bianchi frames.

I think it's definitely too much for a bike with stamped dropouts.

well I guess the chrome 1/2 stays and half fork were dropped after catalog was printed. but $500 is still alot for it

I just paid 125 for a nice Nuovo Alloro today. No way I would pay 500 for that thing. I'd be happy to get 500 for this Alloro when I sell it but expecting between 3-4.

Appreciate the responses guys. I knew once he said that this bike usually go for a $1000 that it's already a red flag. I just saw an almost the same bianchi on a local shop for less than 400.
