Classic Bianchi, hoping this is the one!

Hi all,

Came across this number today: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/2472666046.html

What do you guys think? Don't have any further info on year/model unfortunately but anything to look out for if I go take a ride? How's the price?

Appreciate your opinions/analysis as usual.

I am pretty sure that is a '84 Limited in Dark Maroon. I would not call it rare but it is not a usual color. if it is ready to ride away $325 is an OK price.

DB ChroMoly frame and ChroMoly fork (japanese or Tiawain ese built) with DiaCompe brakes and Suntour Cyclone 2-GT rear derailleur

I had a 1984 just like that earlier this year. Mine was built in Japan. Ad is half hype, half BS, but a nice bike regardless. Why sellers write that crap is beyond me, maybe it works. Sold mine in Hooterville around that price.

Bike would look better with gumwalls.

Nice one up there. I'm not sure why ads are written the way they are either - investment cast fork crown??

I'm not sure about the color scheme but might be nice to turn into a commuter, hmm....
