Schwinn Skip Tooth Find
Found this sitting out front of a house for sale in my neighborhood. I know it is a Schwinn. Anybody have any idea what model it is or how I would be able to figure it out?

Check at schwinnbikeforum.com as well - looks like a "DX" to me. Serial number likely stamped under the crank - do a google search for "schwinn serial numbers" to cross reference the year. BTW - that is a GREAT find and would likely bring several hundred dollars on either Ebay or Craigslist in it's current condition...

Will give you plenty of info. I think I remember that some Schwinn records were lost in a fire along that time. A great find !!
