Biggest picture I have as of yet

So I looked this up on vintage-trek and the only 1985 560 I see is listed as purple but most of the pictures I've seen look navy blue with yellow decals. The seller is identifying the above bike as plum but the picture isn't the greatest quality. Anyone familiar with this model? Is it a fair price?

They didnt list a 560 in the '85 pricelistings but the '86 was going for $593.00.

Nice bike but there seems to be some wiggle room on that asking price in my opinion.

I'm not sure but you're right, it looks more like an '86. However, the '86 came with Shimano components and this one claims Suntour which the '85 had. Guess it could have been stripped...gonna try and get some more details

Not too far off price wise for Cali-crazy-fornia. Better pick it up if that is what you are looking for.

Around here in Hooterville, that would be a $250 bike, but its a totally different market.

It wasn't in the greatest question, back tube was shot and I really couldn't get with the color. The search continues unfortunately.

Bikes similar to that are going for $100 to $200 around here. A few show up on Craigslist for < $100.

us high/ridiculous price market ppl should strike up an agreement with you guys. even with shipping that is much less than $395

I have an '85 Trek 560 with Suntour Cyclone. It is purple not plum, mine matches the catalog. Was this even a 560?

I agree that $395 is way high for a 501 Trek.
