Any info on a 1964 Royal Bicycle

Hello, my son and I have been performing basic maintenance and repairs on our own mountain bikes for a couple years, but have never tinkered with anything older than a 1994. Recently, we thought it would be fun to work on something a bit older and see what SA 3 speeds, cottered cranks and quill stems are all about:eek: Anyway, I found a good candidate at a garage sale recently but have not been able to find out much of anything about it on the internet. Not really concerned with what it is worth (it was worth $20 to the seller and me) just wanting to know a little history. It is a black and white 26 inch wheel Royal with a 1964 SA AW 3 speed hub. It has "Royal" on the tubes and head badge as well as "made in England." Was this made by Raleigh, I have seen some royal scots and royal enfields but nothing seems to match this, any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
