Hello from Ohio...I'm new...if you could help me appreciate it

My father is clearing out the garage to move and has a 40 year Schwinn Stingray bike to try and sell. We have no idea what it is worth. I don't know if this is the proper forum to do this in, this is my first time, but if anyone could help me or tell me who may be able to, I'd appreciate it. Pictures are attached. It has all original parts, works, but again is old.
Thank you,

Denise

Those old Schwinn wheelie bikes are a bit of an oddity. To some collectors they're worth a ton, others I see sit on craigslist forever. Obviously the condition is less than great. Try putting it on craigslist for $100 and see what happens. Don't be surprised if you get as little as $40 for it, again considering the condition.

It really depends on the condition of the bike as well as the year and model.

Here's a 1968 Schwinn Stingray "Orange Crate" that recently sold for $1,700 on eBay.

TIP: Always take at least one relatively detailed photo of the driveside of the bike. In the case of Stingrays, the model name will show on the chainguard.
