Fair market value of a 1972 Colnago Super?

Had one of these pop up in the area. Seller has dropped price from $1300 to $1150. Do not have a complete run-down on parts, but is listed as Campy/Dura-Ace mix. I know little about older Colnagos and just want to know if the price is typical or maybe a little high. If high, what would be appropriate for a bike like this in average condition?

Don't have any good pictures (yet). Perhaps some bits have been replaced over time and it is not all original.

+1 Definitely need pictures for this one to make any kind of guess. "Campy/DA mix" could be just about anything.

If the price has been dropped it obviously isn't a hot seller. This is one you can wait for pictures/info rather than a good deal you have to jump on immediately.

Yeah, you need to see the bike. Could be a mix of parts spanning decades. When my 73 Paramount eventually ends up on CL after my demise, the description would read Campy, Shimano, VO, Nitto and Kalloy. I know I am going to Hell for this. But the wheels ARE SO SHINY I DON'T CARE.

Size matters. And with Colnago I have found the stated year is often really off.
The collective mind here will get it very close within a year, but Colnago was one of those builders that seemed not to follow precise model years.

IF it is a 1972 in decent shape and a moderate size then the frame set could be worth the asking price, note the BIG IF.

Dating is really key here. It can probably be narrowed down to within a couple of years with pics.
