1982 Raleigh Grand Prix Racing

I am wondering what my bike is worth, it is in good condition, only minor rust on the wheel stays, paint and chrome is in good condition. The serial number is 5FN0231 it has the 555sl tubing. Thanks. I think this makes it a 1980?

Pictures? Condition is everything in the used bicycle market. Need pictures to determine value.

Many things impact vintage bicycle value and some of them have nothing to do with the bicycle, itself. If you take the time to have a look at Vintage Bicycle Value, you will come to understand that things like size, location and time of year are among those things that impact final value.

And, as has already been mentioned by others, pictures and a more complete description (size, condition, etc) will help get you more accurate appraisals.

Hope this is a help.

Did they add the RACING USA to all the bikes to commemorate the '84 Olympics or something? A RACING USA Super Course posted on local CL last week.
