Vintage Nishiki International
I'd like to sell my Nishiki International. I bought it new in 1980 or 1981 (I cant remember for sure). It is extremely clean and has just been serviced. It ride really well, quite and smooth. There are minor nicks and chips throughout the frame which is Chrome Moly. The seat is torn. The brakes are Dia Compe G, the derailer is a Shimano 600. What should i ask for it and where is the best place to advertise it?
Thanks,
Ping

Step 1: Replace torn saddle. A torn saddle gives buyers the impression that the bike has been neglected and not maintained. Do not give buyers that impression. It also needs brake lever hoods.
With torn saddle around here: $150. With a good looking replacement without tears: $225. Note, both of these might need to be discounted due to the time of the year, depends where you live.
Without knowing where you live, no idea where you should advertise it. In general, bikes at this level don't do that well on ebay, due to the expense of shipping.
