Centurion Lemans 1987 Value?
Picked up a Centurion Lemans which I believe is a 1987. Has Shimano Exage components throughout and 700C Ukai Rims. It has 12 speeds with index shifting. Curios as to what you guys may think it is worth. I live in Michigan, but would consider putting it on the bay. I did have to replace the chain rings with a couple I had laying around because they were tweaked. It seems to ride pretty smooth and feels nice going down the road.

I would do something about those lever hoods and bar tape before considering sales options. I would also do a thorough cleaning and replace that saddle. Then I would sell locally, as I would net just as much locally as I would on ebay, without the fees and hassles of shipping. Note, I am a power seller on ebay and sell stuff there every week, so I don't have an issue with selling on ebay. Its just better suited for high end bikes or components and oddball garage sales finds.

+1 Not worth putting on ebay.
Issues:
- Angle those bars back to a reasonable level
- Saddle doesn't belong on that bike
- Either ditch the toe clips or add some straps. Clips are useless at the moment.
These aren't major problems, but are hard on the eyes. I'd say it's worth about $200 on craigslist.

I wholeheartedly agree with the comments from Thrifty Bill and Fast Jake - But I would price it at $250 for local sale (after replacing the saddle, adjusting bars and cleaning).
I don't know where in MI you live (it's a pretty big place) - but around here, eBay is best to move $300+ bikes because once you hit that marker. they become very difficult to sell on CL.

Thanks for all the good info. I dropped the bars. Going to give it a good cleaning and greasing. Now to decide what color bar tape to get.

OK for $200, but offer $175.
I owned the exact same model and size. A fun bike - rode my first century on it.
