Schwinn World Traveler 1954 3-speed
I have just acquired a 1954 Schwinn WORLD TRAVELER 3-speed bicycle. It is in original shape and it is in good condition. I would like to know how rare it is and what price I might expect to ask for it . I have been unable to find anything like it on the internet other some references to replacement decals and old retail "ads" for sale. If any of you have information regarding this bicycle it would be appreciated.

can't tell you much without seeing pictures... post some pictures. value also depend on condition and location. I don't think your bike is rare or that collectible.

Here's the 1954 Traveler dealer catalog page with specifications. It has a straight gauge carbon steel electroforged frame and is pretty heavy.

That's the shipping weight, but yeah, they're heavy.
