fuji opus III - sell whole or part out

I hate to do it, but I have told myself I will only keep one of each kind of bike and the Fuji is getting the short straw after only a few months of ownership. It is a Fuji Opus III with a Fujita Pro saddle and excellent condition Superbe Pro components except for the pedals which are Cyclone. Is this another case where the parts are worth more than the whole?

Local sale or ebay? Ebay = part out, local = whole.

Depending on frame condition (if average or worse), strip it and rebuild with more midgrade parts, then sell the rebuilt bike whole. If the frame looks really good (paint and decals), then selling the frameset on ebay will get you the most $$. Superbe Pro stuff always goes pretty good. Other Suntour groups go pretty low, sometimes Sprint and Cyclone Gen 1 goes pretty good (bought a worn set but still quite servicable Sprint FD, RD and levers last week on ebay for $15 plus $3 shipping).

blilrat,
Any chance you'd be willing to ship to Los Angeles? If so, I'd love to get some details on size and condition. I'm 6'+, most comfortable with a 57-58 ST and TT, both measured C-C. Looking for a straight, rust free frame, paint and decal condition don't matter much. Love to get some nice Superbe Pro on it, but I have plenty of stuff, so good component condition isn't essential. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks

Just a bit too late, parted it out last week. The frame is in California somewhere getting built back up by some lucky new owner.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm going to imagine that it was way too small for me so I won't care about missing out.
