1979 Motobecane Grand Jubilee

New to bicycling, have flip flopped between buying a super cheap bike, to super expensive, now I'm looking sort of in between. Found this bike today, am going to take it for a spin after work. Is $375 a fair price? below I'll post pictures and what the seller describes. Thanks in advance for any responses or comments.

If you want a cool looking vintage bike than you probably want it to look JUST LIKE THIS! Legendary brand and an upper tier model. Very cool one piece Hutchinson bar and brake/hood warp. (Levers have been professionally added to the brakes. You can leave them for convenience--they work great, or remove them for a traditional look) Suntour Cyclone derailleurs, Weinmann brakes, Vitus 172 tubing, Made in France rat trap pedals, Leather Advoct touring saddle, Rigida alloy rims. The tires are like new and still have the little rubber nubbies --- too many cool and custom components to list. This is the Vintage ride to drool over - it's a head turner.

You should be able to scroll right after the initial pic to see more. Thx again.

Ad is typical marketing fluff, but $375 is a realistic price on that bike. Its a good one! (I have a 1979 myself).

Just looked at the pics, based on that condition (awesome!), I would consider that bike a DEAL. Well done, enjoy!

I have a 1978 Motobecane Grand Jubilee that I found at the Dump last summer. I love the bicycle and have turned down an offer of $500.00 for the bicycle. You did just fine with your purchase...
