A 650 Open Pro rim went unsold recently at .99 on ebay. Don't think it was an end early thing. Definitely low demand.

Low demand, definitely what the others said. Time to get good deals, in that case, if you can run the 650c.
I saw a set of Ksyrium Elites in 650c go for $250 recently, NIB. I've paid $80 for new DA/Open 4 CD's.
If I happened to have 2-3 small WSD tri-bikes, I'd be all over the deals out there.
About 2 months ago, some 650c Zipps 404's went for something like $590 here on CL, with tubulars and a cassette.
