1976 Schwinn Superior value
What would be the value of a black Schwinn Superior 21" frame that is in near perfect condition. It was purchased in 1976 and was used maybe 10 times. I have all the original paperwork and receipts.

It really depends on if you're selling it locally or on E-bay and pictures are a must before anyone will really be able to help.
I checked E-bay completed listings and the last two decent Superiors around that age that sold there went for between $330-$350.
There's also couple crazy people trying to get $1000+ and amazingly they haven't sold at that price.
Also look at your local Craigslist to see what bikes are going for in your area if you don't want to deal with E-bay.

I think FORDSVTPARTS is on the money. There is almost a cult following for the fillet brazed chromoly Schwinns (Superior, Sports Tourer, Super Sport) because the frames are hand brazed and very robust with straight gauge 4130 tubing. I am a big fan.
They are decidedly heavy compared to modern bikes, but can be made lighter by upgrading to modern components.
It's pretty rare to see them in the condition described in the OP, so that might bring a premium price. The only way to tell for sure what it's worth is to put it on eBay with a starting price set as low as you're willing to accept and see what happens.
Schwinn measured the frames from the center of the crank to the top of the seat tube, and the 1976 Superior was available in 22", 24", and 26" frame sizes, so my guess is you've got a 22" frame. The retail price in 1976 was $219.95.
The late Sheldon Brown's website has a great article on the fillet brazed Schwinns HERE.

I should have mentioned that I sold this one recently for $180.00 on my local CL, I could have probably gotten more if I held out for just the right buyer but the paint was rough and I kept the Nervar crankset for a personal project and I made a decent profit at the price I sold it for so I was happy.

I sold a mint one a couple of years ago for $300 on my local craigslist, wish I would of kept it , very nice riding bikes.
