A good deal?
Found this on Craigslist it looks as though it is in pretty good shape. Asking $30. 1970s Falcon Black Diamond 10 speed bicycle. It is an Ernie Clements design with Campagnola shifters. 27" tires. Anyone have any input on the bike.

Ah, this one?

I'd pass. The cottered crankset is a dead giveaway of a lowbie bike. Some 70's Motos had cottered cranks on very good frames though.

The Falcon Black Diamond was the entry level model for the Falcon line-up. I have owned a few of these bicycles and found them to be pretty nothing special. But for $30, if the bike was in decent shape and a decent fit for me, I would not hesitate to purchase it...

Good deal? Sure, its only $30. But what are you looking for, and in what size? Myself, I would pass.

So is there an old road bike that randyjawa has not owned and has great pics of? Heck if it fit me, I'd buy it for $30. Old road bikes have plenty of clearance for fat tires which makes them really versatile.
