Colnago Super
I'm super interested in this, can some of your better educated folks confirm this is a good deal? The asking price is $600
Vintage Columbus steel Colnago. Red and chrome. Paint is chipped, and the Columbus decal is squished. Colnago decals look ok. Stamped Colnago on both chainstays, I believe this dates the frame to the early eighties. Mix of components. Campy seat post and rear hub. Shimano 600 crank, brakes and Dura Ace rear der. Braze on Campy front der. Front wheel is generic alloy. Unknown bb and hs. Needs gum hoods and bar tape. Tires are recent Specialized armadillo. Turbo saddle.
This bike is a great restoration candidate.

She came home with me, ended up picking her up for $500. She does have some light rust, but it's only cosmetic which doesn't bother me at all. Maybe someone can explain the number tab to me? I can't find any info on it not to mention I can't even find pictures of others with it.
sorry for the potato phone pictures.

She came with the turbo but I threw my swift on as soon as I got home.

the tab... Seriously I'd like to know about it.

cinelli stem and bars.

campy front DR and shimanno 600 cranks/brakes

The number hanger is for your racing number.
Three of my Supers had those, one did not.
Well, you bought the bicycle. I'd suggest you start researching these forums and the internet for info.
Good luck considering your options for that fun bicycle.
Lots of folks to help you around here.

Where else are you going to hang your race number

You wouldn't want to tape it on now, would you?
