Peugeot model/price

Any idea what the model in this picture is?

It seems to be regularly used by the current owner, so it should be in a fair condition. However, I don't know how many parts are still original. What would be a fair price?

That appears to be a lower end Pug. Probably HLE tubing (nothing special) or Carbolite 103 (same) and towards the bottom of the Peugeot line. It is a P8 or something like that; the model designation is probably on a sticker on the underside of the bottom bracket.

Wouldn't go any higher than about 125$; and this assumes it is rideable and needs no major work.

I think its a pre 1986 P6. Not seeing the drive side makes it difficult. Obviously the tires, bar tape, and saddle are not original. I'm not sure the wheel set is matching. High flange hub in front looks right, pic is too poor to judge rear. Low end bikes don't typically get modifications unless something wears out or breaks.

If the bike is rough, $60-$75.00 in the NY area.

If it is rough, I would likely pass. Some old Pugs have mechanical issues (small seatpost, odd threading) and although they are nice riders I'd wait for a better one. They're quite common.
