Can anyone verify or correct me on this? Also, what is it worth?

Here are four new shots at top of the page (one of wheel with name). Im not very bike savvy, so Ill just provide the pics. I know that the hand interrupter brakes are new add ons because the person I got the bike from put them on for me. Everything else is the same as the condition we found it in.

It looks like a New Rose color '87 Sport SX with a tange DB ChroMo main frame (in SuperSet) and fork w/ mangalloy stays. a Suntour/DiaCompe Alpha 5000 group.

The wheels don't look original what are they?

I have posted some better quality pics...one of the wheel with name. Looks like "ARAYA." I wouldn't know if this is the original wheel set or not...I don't know a lot about Bianchis. Do you know how much this bike was new, and how much its worth now? The frame seems to be in really good condition. Not too sure of its originality though...

What part of its originality aren't you sure about? Everything but the wheels look original to me. New they sold for about $475ish.

They are great riding bikes I have no idea how many miles I put on mine the first year I had it but after it was religated to #2 in the lineup it still saw its fair share of use as a commuter, then I rebuilt it for cross, then back to commuter again. I did a somersault through an intersection with it one night on my way home from work. The back wheel was ruweened and had to put the frame in the stand and had to straighten it out a bit. After that it still rides great. Mine was black though.

I changed my stem and bars to allow me to sit more upright and put a different brake lever on it.

As for resale... I would like to think mine is worth 1K but realistically I see these and the '88/89 ones being offered for anywhere between $200 and $500. Condition pending I think $200-225 for a '87 is good. Slightly more for an '88 or '89 as they were mostly Celeste and had shimano 7spd which is easier to upgrade to sti type shifters.
