I'd say that it's too high by a couple hundred. It's beautiful, but I believe a 2nd tier model. I sold a complete Competition for $500. To me, that's a $225-300 frame set.

Agreed. It's really cool, but not worth that much (at least to me.)

Also consider the cost of building it up with respectable parts unless you have a group and wheels to hang on it already.

Does if come with a good BB and headset? I notice eyelets - is this a sports/touring model? Looks like it only has one set of bottle mounts FWIW. Agree that it's an OK deal in the $250 range.
