Steve Bauer, any good?

Came across this ad this morning. After looking up the frame-builder, the bike seems to be of quality. What do you think and is it worth it?

Sounds like its a complete bike. Custom builds rarely have crappy components on them, so even if the frame's junk you probably have the $245 value in the components alone.

I'd take the gamble and make the drive, it could be something pretty special, and even if it isn't it's only $250

How far of a drive is it? I would see if you can get pics. I am not sure but I think these ran the gammet from really nice machines down to $400-500 entry level bikes.

I've seen a few Steve Bauer bikes, most of them at least mid-high level builds. Though Bianchigirll is right , at least at some point in their history they made a full line up of models.
