Peugeot Triathlon (Super Vitus 980) 1986?

I'd like to find out the details on this bike and it's approximate value. A great find at the Goodwill, but it's too big for me so it's gotta go... Any input is appreciated. No rust, or chips.

Super Vitus 980
Sachs-Huret 12 Speed
Modolo Brakes
Maillard Clips

I've wanted a Super Vitus Peugeot for a while now. In excellent ready to ride shape I would put it about $300. Looks like all it needs is a cleanup and some new bar tape.

Thanks Jake. She's a real beauty. It's a real shame that it's not a little smaller.

Your bike would look very nice parked next to my 1988 Peugeot Triathlon.

I got one earlier this year in excellent condition for $225. The seat had been replaced with a honey B17 with matching leather tape. I think I got a pretty good deal.

Definitely a 1986 model, which was the debut year for this model. In 1987 Peugeot spec'd it with Shimano and it wasn't available in Tulip Red.

I just picked a Peugeot PSN10 Triathlon a few days ago and mine is in very good original condition, right down to the expanding fit ATAX seat post. Lovely bicycle, fitted with Stronglight cranks, Modolo brakes, Sachs-Huret transmission, Maillard Heilocromatic wheel set and so on...

I would happily accept $350.00 CND for the bike, as it sits. But once I clean it up, I likely will hang on to it for a while.
