Peugeot: Green Circa 1971-72 - What is it worth? Mess to fix up?

A woman bought this bike in the early 70's while working in Paris.
She gave it to me, see if I could do anything with it.

I loved my mid 80's one-model-above-lowest-end Carbolite 103 model 10 spd as a kid.

Is the ride different on this model?

This one seems higher end, being lower bar shifters and all.

Any idea which model?

The frame appears in nice shape. The chrome has plenty of surface rust, almost all of it.

Interesting leather saddle, rear rack and rear fender.

Is it worth anything? A mess to fix up?

Photos are way too small and also out-of-focus, please try again.

BTW, U-08s had down tube shifters as well!

Looks like a UE8, the "touring" version of the UO. Fixed up and ready to ride, @150$. Probably more in Portland. How much more, I'm not sure. They're nice riders, so if you just want it to ride, I say fix it up.

Shifter location did not move to the stem on these until about 1974 IIRC, and not on all versions. Weird shifters, only had the boss on one side.

Base level bike, with the AO model below it. Peugeot used the same basic frame in a number of variations.
