Can someone tell me the year and model of this bike?
This bike was given to us by someone who was incapable of riding it. She got it from someone else who gave it to her to ride. I just want to know what the year is. I think the model is a breeze but I'm not entirely sure. I'm not willing to sell, I just want to know what it is. Thank you in advance.

You'll have to take a gander at the rear hub for a clue. It looks like an old bike with some non original stuff like the grips and reflectors on the wheels. Try to post some pics when the sun is up.

Looks to be a 1950's mid level Ameican single speed with some of the parts changed and the frame repainted makeing it tough to ID. Based on the frame my best guess would be a late 50's J.C. Higgins.

Agree with Zukahn that it might be a J.C. Higgins, but doesn't matter much either way...looks like a nice $25 bike for putzing around town or going out to pick up the mail.

If you can confirm it's a Schwinn you need to find a serial to start narrowing down years there's a lot of bikes from 1959 back it could be.

A Schwinn Breeze? Schwinn had their own tire & rim size, S6 and S7 and they aren't sold everywhere. The serial number will help us.
