Need help on replacement parts for a LOOK KG96
I have had this bike since the early 90's. 7 speed down tube shifters...
I am looking for replace my sakae seat post (25.0) with something lighter...also want to replace system 2 stem (22.2)
Any recommendations as to sources or do you know anyone who would be selling these..
I am new so I hope this is the correct forum
Thanks,
Ken

eBay or Craigslist. Since those are somewhat hard to find parts you may have to pay quite a bit.
You could also try a "Want To Buy" listing on CL, a collector may have some parts that they want to sell off.

Constant tinkerer
Yeah, those are somewhat oddball parts to find really high end versions of (especially the post.) If you had a 27.2 post you'd have about a million options.
Have you really upgraded everything else that you've gotten to the stem and seatpost? How is the rest of the bike equipped? I usually focus on important areas first like the wheelset, crank, brakes (if necessary) and of course saddle and pedals.
