The bike was advertised locally and the seller was willing to meet me in town, where I live. He was asking$175 and would go to $150 - I offered $100 and would go to $115. We could not find a middle.

The bike rode well for a nearly 40 year old bike. But it was missing all the decals, had rust and rough hubs, and wasn't my size. The size wasn't a deal breaker as I was thinking it might make a nice fixie but his price was squeezing all the profit potential out of the bike.

I know this was a pretty good "consumer" bike back in the day but just didn't want to be hasty when buying a flipper.

My Dad always told me that " it is not a bargain if it's not what you looking for." I am sure that will make a nice bike for someone who wants to keep for themselves.

It would only fit a 5'7" rider if they wore 4" platform shoes. Fork looks a wee bit bent too, could be camera angle.
