I'm looking to buy a bike, and i was wondering is this Schwinn Continental 1972 worth the price?
In the ad it mentions that its Professionally tuned up, also has new tires and new chain... http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=271419http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=271420http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=271421http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=271422 |
You mean this one?: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/bik/3134836938.html
http://images.craigslist.org/5Ea5F55...b8633b1c15.jpg That's a 24" (medium size) frame Continental in pretty good condition and all original, but that price is way too high for a Continental. They normally sell in the $100 to $150 range in that condition. A price that high would be reserved for a Super Sport or Sports Tourer. |
$300 is really outrageous in any market. Atlanta, its totally wacky.

For a Schwinn Continental in the south this price is way to high. I would say only about $100 maybe $150 if everything is pefect recently serviced with new tires and cables.
