Help: litespeed titanium

HI
I have a Litespeed Titanium and it was purchased in 1991/1992
Could you give me an idea of what it is worth? Or how do I go about finding out?
Unfortunately I don't know the model!

Thanks!!

Check craigslist or ebay.

Hello Seraluna welcome to the forums. Litespeed made several models and the could be equipped in many ways shimano or Campi. can you provide some more informationa dn perhaps some good pics?

Too little information to provide meaningful value.

Check ebay, COMPLETED AUCTIONS ONLY! Sellers can ask any price they want, all the way up to ridiculous. But unless the item actually sold, that price is meaningless. Pay attention to the age, component group and presentation. Realize unless you have the ability to ship a bike at a reasonable cost, and a gold plated reputation, then ebay is likely a waste of time.

That leaves selling on Craigs List. You will need some great pictures there too, but you avoid the shipping part. And you will likely get quite a bit less, depending on where you live.

And be sure to provide accurate sizing information.

In general, for higher end bikes, when sold locally, they will only bring a fraction of the ebay pricing. Great for buyers, lousy for sellers.

hi
thank you for the replies, eventually I got around to taking few pictures. Ebay will be of course a good tool but I would like to have an idea first as to what it could be worth.
so here are some few snaps of the frame (I think that's what most valuable) it mounts Shimano
Any thought welcome ! and thanks a lot for the help!!

OH mountain bike! I think mos us assumed road bike aka '10 spd'. Not bad looking, is the shimano Deore LX? Deore XT?

It looks like a needs good cleaning and tuning before going to auction. A bike that looks clean and well functioning gets top dollar.

After cleaning oyu need some good drive side pics and detail/closeup shots of the brakes and derailleurs aka 'gears'.

There's someone selling a Litespeed MTB on Chicagos CL for $895 with no takes. In today's market perhaps $600. Nice Litespeed bike you have!

Here's a link:

Unfortunately I agree with the above...titanium doesn't seem to hold value well (which makes 0 sense to me given its corrosion resistance) and older MTBs don't hold value well. $600 might even be optimistic.

Before you try ANYTHING you need to take some much better pictures. You took them from the wrong side, pictures need to be taken from the drive-side. One picture with the WHOLE bike in it, and then details of the components (crank/drivetrain, fork, etc.)

Unless you have a good reputation on ebay already, your sale of this bike there will be for much less money. Also, it looks like there is surface rust on some of the bolts which indicates it has been neglected and left outside, another minus. Most of the value in this bike is in the frame. I think your best option is craigslist.

Finally, where are you located? I for one would love to have that frame...
