Hello folks, I'm new to the forum and have only recently gotten interested in vintage bikes (odd since I ride a 20 year old Cannondale 3.0 and my wife rides a 20+ year old Raleigh Competition).
I've got to be in Houston next week and was going to look at this bike. It has an interesting mix of components but the owner swears it's a Ultima, but finally said he'd bought it sometime back in an estate sale. I've not seen one this color but it is very close to the color for an AD-SL though it does have the chrome chain stay. Is it an Ultima or something else?
Thanks

Csn't say if it's an ultima, but it is an AD 531 frame and the AD's of that era came with Campy NR cranks and derailleurs. If the 57cm frame fits you, it looks like a decent price.

It was the odd mix of things that had me wondering and I thought the Ultimas had SR components. Never the less the 57cm is the correct size for me and I'm planning to go look at it for sure. I just wanted to know what to look for to verify that it was a Ultima, SL or some other model.
Thanks

By the way, he has been unable to locate the serial number but has found C-6 stamped on it. Does this help at all?
