What size and model is this Centurion?

Hi guys -- Any guess on the size and model of this Centurion? I can't tell if it's a 58 or a 56cm. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It's an Ironman. Looks like 56cm, definitely not 58cm. Those are great bikes.

I agree it looks like a 56cm. Can't tell model. Go take a look at it and check out the components, condition, etc. How much is the seller asking?

Stockton as Jake says we simply need more information. It looks like a late '80s bike since it has aero style brake levers, but there is no way to know the model. If you can see the bike in person the model name is right by or under that pump holder on the top tube.

1987 Centurion Ironman Expert with Shimano New 105. It's probably a 56cm, but be aware that WSI spec'd these ctt, so it works out to more like 54.7cm ctc. As for the front end, it's hard to say. The wheel does look at bit close to the downtube but not so much that it's obvious. Often, camera shots can be deceiving. You'd have to see it in person to be sure.

+1 Looks a tad buckled to me as well, but it could just he the photo angle. In person trumps crappy internet pic.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I had the same thought about the fork looking bent. The wheel looks suspiciously close to the downtube, although I agree it's hard to get a sense from a bad photo taken at a bad angle. At $50, it's still a no brainer. I'll take a look and report back.

$50? Why are you even asking us? The wheelset is probably worth more than that. If it's listed anywhere near a city it should be long gone by now.

$50? You should have already been driving. Hopefully it did not get scooped on you.

$50 price point = grab now, research later.

I agree for $50 for this bike would be a good price even if it has frame fork issues it has 3 or 4 times that value in parts.

In case anyone's interested. I decided to check out the Centurion and the seller agreed to let it go for $40. I took a bunch of pictures. The fork doesn't appear to be bent. I think you can see marks from the TIG welding at the base of the forks, but I don't see any bending and the straight on shot seems okay. What do you guys think?

Apparently, the bike belonged to the guy's grandfather, who definitely used this bike and by the looks of it, used it lovingly. There was a gel saddle cover over the suede Vetta, some unusual clipless pedals, and upgraded tires, although I'll have to look around for the original specs.

Anyway, enjoy:

Looks like you got a realy great deal I can't see anything wrong with the bike from the better pics. i'm surprised you got it for $40 in a lot of markets that bike would go for $300 plus. Hope you enjoy the bike.
