Need help identifying, thanks!

Hello, I recently acquired this bike. Just wanted to get some help identifying. What is is depends on how I fix it. The stamp on bottom of crank reads R631222249. I was told was a 1949 Streamliner by a local bike shop. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Well it does look like a 1940's Streamliner. The bike is in pretty rough shape and those aren't the original wheels. Yet the core of the bike seems pretty solid and complete. It would be worth restoring if you have the ability and patiance to do most of the work yourself. I doubt it would be worth restoring if you have to pay or get others to do a lot of the work.

Thanks for the reply. Is there an easy to narrow it down? Is Streamliner a brand/manufacturer or a bike style? I was debating on classic paint job ora custom one. Any thoughts? What would the original wheels look like? the rear hub on this has a red line around the middle. Thanks for any help in advance!

On the chain guard there is a word above the white line. It looks like C?? t?m? Not real sure as it is very faint. Also a circle with a > through it. Thanks for the help.
