Peugeot PH10LE

Hi All,

Am looking at a Peugeot, assume that it's a PH10LE from 1986. What do you think it's worth? Seller is wanting $90, have reservations about a bike that sold for $320 originally.

The only picture:

As a rider, $90 seems perfectly fair if bike is complete and straight. Seems nice cosmetically to the extent the picture shows anything. For a flip, I dunno.

Probably HLE tubing. If it's all there and without serious issues, go for it. In your market you may even be able to flip it at that price.

+1 , I think there is some flip potential there ; neat color and as mentioned, looks to be in good shape. I'd pay $90 for that bike in a minute.

(Didn't notice seat at first, looks to be torn up pretty good. )

Welcome the used bicycle market where age correlates only loosely to the original price.. Value is far more dependent upon local market condtions and the cosmetic and mechanical condition of the bicycle. It's not unusual for very good condition, early 1970's Peugeot models to sell for slightly over their original price.

It's hard to tell much from the poor resolution, non-drive picture but assuming it is accurately represented and is in good condition, that would be a very good price in an average market and should even has some room for a small profit as a flipper.

+10 Attractive price, assuming no serious damage and paint in good shape, it would not last long around here. Ready to ride, lower end but decent Peugeots bring $20, or more, around here.

+10 Once you get older era bikes, what they originally sold for has very little meaning, except in comparing with other bikes from that era.

I've responded to the advert, hopefully will see it sometime today. I'll offer less, flip it in spring.
