1980s Azuki Sebring
Hi everyone,
I'm a poor college student (very redundant title) who is just getting into cycling. I am joining this forum today because I was doing research on a vintage Azuki Sebring I found at my hometown bike shop (really mom-and-pop) being sold for $80. I rode it about and no creaks or squeaks, chain moves nicely over the gears and the gear switching action is pretty solid. I don't have pictures, but here are some of the specs I was able to find labels for: 10-speed — Suntour Seven derailleurs and paddle switchers Sugino Idol cranks KKT RT-SF pedals Dia Compe breaks Everything else says it was made in Japan. They said they did a full tune up with tire/tube change and cable change. There is not much rust at all, and the frame is slightly scratched and dinged in a few places. What do y'all think? |
I'm not at all familiar with those, but if the bike fits you $80 is not a bad price for anything tuned and ready to go.

Agree - at $80 if it fits and is rideable you did well. Sounds like a pretty basic 80s ten speed, perfect campus bike.
